The United States is perhaps one of the most sought after and even one of the most favorite travel destinations by most people. Going on a trip to the USA will definitely not be a disappointment as it offers many great exciting sights and attractions to check out and experience.
USA has a great vast of land and each area or region has an attraction to offer to tourists as well as to the locals. In Atlanta, Georgia you can find the Centennial Park which was the venue used in the 1996 Olympic games. After which, it was converted into a 21 acre park that now hosts events. If you happen to be in Chicago, Illinois there is the Buckingham Fountain which has the pink marble fountain that has water and light show that happens every hour.
You can also check out the Greenfield Village in Detroit, Michigan which was created to serve as a reminder of how life was before the Civil War. In Miami, Florida they built the American Police Hall of Fame as a remembrance to the police officers who sacrificed their lives while on duty.
The Battery Park in New York is another interesting sight to see as it houses several waterfront attractions as well as walking paths, playgrounds and restaurants. Also in New York are the very famous Statue of Liberty, the Niagara Falls, and the Empire State Building.
If you want a piece of history, go to Philadelphia and visit the Independence Hall which was the place where the Independence was declared and at the same time where the US Constitution was made. Also in the same area is the Liberty Bell.
When in Washington, DC you will be able to see the Jefferson Memorial as well as the Lincoln Memorial. In Colorado River, Arizona there is the Hoover Dam.
Find time to visit the Mount Rushmore National Memorial that is found in Key Stone, South Dakota, also the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California and the popular Giant Forest in Sequoia and the Kings of Canyon National Park in California too.
There are definitely many great sights to see in the USA and there are also several things to do here. Do come and check out the San Diego Zoo or see a Broadway musical. Visit museums such as the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC and the Metropolitan Museum of Art too.
